Our annual 4 treatment lawn care programme consists of ingredients adapted to compliment the seasons characteristics.

Treatment 1 Spring

Applying the correct range of nutrients in the spring feed is critical if your lawn is going to take advantage of the spring growth period. Well nourished grass will grow stronger allowing it to compete against weeds and moss that try to colonise lawns. A poorly fed lawn also encourages disease.

Treatment 2 Early Summer

This treatment consists of an application of a liquid herbicide alongside a granular fertiliser containing various nutrients including phosphorous and potassium to feed the grass and encourage vitally important root growth for optimum growth.

Treatment 3 Late Summer

In late summer early autumn it is appropriate to use a product high in potassium. This will strengthen the roots and prepare the grass for better disease resistance through the winter ahead.

Treatment 4 Autumn

The final treatment of the year will provide a season specific fertiliser low in nitrogen but high in phosphorus and potassium to encourage strong root growth but avoiding soft top growth that is susceptible to disease . We also apply a strong dose of moss control This treatment will enable your lawn to thrive and remain green all year round.

Specialist Products

Products containing iron or magnesium can be used at any time of year to quickly green up the lawn. Products containing iron can also help with moss control.

A regular mowing schedule is essential to ensure the lawn benefits from lawn treatments.
